Embedded Carbon Record for CBAM Compliance: Partner Terms and Conditions
These terms govern participation in the embeddedcarbonrecord.com partner programs. Last updated: 16 April 2026.
1. Definitions
"Platform" means embeddedcarbonrecord.com, operated by LinkDaddy® LLC ("we", "us", "our").
"Partner" means any individual or organisation accepted into the Verifier Partner Program or Embed Widget Program.
"Verifier Partner" means an ISO 14065 accredited verification body listed in the Platform's verification directory.
"Embed Widget Partner" means an organisation approved to embed the Platform's JavaScript widget on their website.
"Referred Registration" means a vault registration completed by a manufacturer who clicked a Partner's referral link or widget within the 90-day attribution window.
"Commission" means the percentage of the vault registration fee paid to a Partner for a Referred Registration.
2. Program Eligibility
2.1 Verifier Partner Program
Eligibility requires: (a) current ISO 14065 accreditation or equivalent national accreditation; (b) active listing in the Platform's verification directory; (c) acceptance of these terms.
2.2 Embed Widget Program
Eligibility requires: (a) an active website with an audience of non-EU manufacturers or CBAM-relevant professionals; (b) approval by the Platform at its sole discretion; (c) acceptance of these terms.
3. Commission Rates

Commission is calculated on the net fee received by the Platform after payment processor fees. Commission is not payable on refunded transactions.
4. Attribution and Tracking
4.1 Attribution is tracked via a 90-day first-click cookie set when a manufacturer clicks a Partner's referral link or widget.
4.2 If a manufacturer clicks multiple Partner links within the 90-day window, attribution is assigned to the first click.
4.3 Partners must not use paid advertising, cookie stuffing, or any other deceptive attribution method. Violation results in immediate termination and forfeiture of all pending commissions.
4.4 The Platform's tracking records are final and binding in all attribution disputes.
5. Payment
5.1 Commissions are paid via Stripe Connect. Partners must maintain an active Stripe Connect account to receive payment.
5.2 Payouts are processed monthly. Minimum payout threshold: USD $100. Commissions below $100 accumulate until the threshold is reached.
5.3 Partners are responsible for all taxes on commission income in their jurisdiction. The Platform will issue a 1099 (US) or equivalent documentation where required by law.
5.4 The Platform reserves the right to withhold payment pending investigation of suspected fraud or policy violation.
6. Embed Widget Terms
6.1 The embed widget code is provided as-is. Partners must not modify the widget code, remove attribution tracking, or alter the referral parameters.
6.2 Partners may customise the widget appearance (colour, size, button text) using the approved configuration parameters only.
6.3 The widget must be placed on a page relevant to CBAM, embedded carbon, or carbon compliance. Placement on unrelated pages is prohibited.
6.4 Partners must not represent the Platform as their own service or imply an exclusive partnership.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Partners must not: (a) self-refer (register their own vault using their referral link); (b) offer cash incentives to manufacturers to use their referral link; (c) use spam, unsolicited email, or deceptive advertising; (d) misrepresent the Platform's services; (e) use the Platform's trademarks without written permission.
8. Termination
8.1 Either party may terminate participation with 30 days written notice.
8.2 The Platform may terminate immediately for: material breach of these terms; fraudulent activity; reputational harm to the Platform; insolvency of the Partner.
8.3 On termination, all pending commissions for completed registrations prior to the termination date will be paid within 60 days. Commissions for registrations after termination are forfeited.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform's total liability to any Partner under these terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to that Partner in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Platform is not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative losses.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules.
11. Amendments
The Platform may amend these terms at any time with 30 days notice to Partners. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
